2008-09: Had his season cut short with a collarbone injury sustained in the Bedlam dual against Oklahoma in Norman ... Did not return to the lineup after his injury ... Finished with a 6-3 overall record that included a 1-3 mark in duals and one win over a ranked opponent ... Four of his six wins came with bonus points ... Entered the campaign as OSU's starter at 133 pounds and got the season underway with a championship at the Central Missouri Open ... Knocked off No. 19 Matt Fisk of Lehigh at the Northeast Duals.
2007-08: Went 16-8 on the year including a 7-4 mark in dual matches ... Claimed four wins by fall and three major decision victories ... NCAA qualifier entered the Big 12 Championship as the third seed, but knocked off No. 15 Joey Fio of Oklahoma by a 4-2 score to work his way into the conference title bout ... Claimed a 3-2 win over No. 17 Tyler Clark of Iowa State as part of OSU's 16-15 win over the Cyclones ... Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships, pinning Army's Fernando Martinez in 6:45 in the wrestleback first round ... Did not compete for OSU during the fall semester, but did suit up for the Central Missouri Open, where he won the 133-pound bracket ... Also competed in the OU Open ... Returned to action with the Cowboys in January, pinning Rider's Ilyass Elmasouri at the 5:29 mark in his first match since returning to the lineup ... A 7-1 winner over Missouri's John Olanowski in his first Big 12 dual match of the season ... Picked up an 8-3 win over Northern Iowa's Caleb Flores in his first home dual of the year ... A 12-4 major decision winner over UC Davis' Marcus Orozco.
2006-07: NCAA qualifier as a freshman was a starter for the Cowboys all year long ... Took third at the Big 12 Championships after upsetting No. 7 Nick Fanthorpe of Iowa State, 5-3 ... Picked up four wins over ranked opponents on the year, including back-to-back wins over No. 20 John Olanowski of Missouri (5-3) and then-No. 15 Fanthorpe (5-2) at the National Duals ... Also knocked off No. 13 Pat Castillo of Northern Illinois at the UNO Open by a 6-3 score ... Picked up three wins by fall, the quickest of which came in 1:22 over Lindenwood's Josh Sampo at the UNO Open ... Enjoyed three major decision wins, highlighted by a 14-5 major over Oklahoma's Henry Roman in a Bedlam Series dual in Stillwater to close out the regular season.
2005-06 (Redshirt Year): Posted a 7-1 record wrestling in open tournaments ... Won the 20 and under division at the Kaufman-Brand Open ... Took runner-up at the Oklahoma Open where he lost to third-ranked Sam Hazewinkel of Oklahoma ... Recorded a fall and a major decision on the season.
High School: Attended Ponca City HS, where he was coached by Todd Steidley ... A three-time All-American from 2002-04 ... Three-time Oklahoma State champion ...
