2024-25: A focal point of the Cowboys roster, the All-American started every dual match for the Cowboys for the second-straight season, collecting a 24-5 record … The 125-pounder produced five wins over top-five opponents in his breakout season … Went 12-2 in those dual matches and tallied the fourth-most dual points on the team … After being seeded seventh at the NCAA Championships, took down the second and third seeds before falling in the title bout in overtime to finish second … Placed second at the Big 12 Championships … Went 15-5 against ranked opponents on the year with wins over Keyveon Roller (Virginia), Stevo Poulin (Northern Colorado), Matt Ramos (Purdue), Jore Volk (Wyoming), Brendan McCrone (Ohio State), Caleb Smith (Nebraska), Antonio Lorenzo (Oklahoma), Trever Anderson (Northern Iowa), Gage Walker (Missouri), Joey Cruz (Iowa), Tanner Jordan (North Dakota State), and a pair of wins over Eddie Ventresca (Virginia Tech) and Maximo Renteria (Oregon State) … Tallied a dozen bonus-point wins for a new career-high … Took home third at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
