2023-24: Began the season at 141 pounds, but bumped up to 149 in mid-December … Went 15-5 on the season with a 2-2 record in duals … Wrestled unattached in open tournaments throughout the fall semester before making his Cowboy debut against No. 26 Finn Solomon in the dual at Pittsburgh on January 12 … Defeated Solomon by major decision, picking up his first ranked win and bonus points for the team … Secured a key win over Oregon State’s No. 15 Nash Singleton to swing the dual’s momentum back in OSU’s favor … Also had tight dual matches against No. 9 Ty Watters of West Virginia and No. 10 Casey Swiderski of Iowa State … In his two open tournaments at 141 pounds, finished runner-up at the Lindenwood Open and first at the Bob Smith Open.
2022-23 (Rutgers): Bumped up to 141 pounds and wrestled to a 13-2 record before transferring to Oklahoma State in January … Was ranked as high as No. 8 in the nation during his strong start to the season … Placed third at the prestigious Midlands Championships with a 6-1 tournament record … Picked up a win over No. 19 Jesse Vasquez in a dual with Arizona State, which was followed by an 18-6 major decision over Stanford’s Jason Miranda in the following dual.
2021-22 (Rutgers): Completed the year with an 8-2 record at 133 pounds with six of his wins earning bonus points, including three majors, two tech falls and a pin … Earned a 7-1 mark in dual action, producing 29 total dual points.
2020-21 (Rutgers): Ranked as high as No. 5 in the country at 133 pounds before missing the postseason … Finished the season with a 3-0 record and made his debut with a 14-3 major decision over Ohio State’s Jordan Decatur.
2019-20 (Rutgers): Completed his true freshman season with a solid 26-10 record … Qualified for the NCAA Championships at 133 pounds and was slotted as the No. 10 seed, but did not compete as the tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19 … Named a Second Team All-American by the NWCA … Placed sixth at the Big Ten Championships … Champion of the Southern Scuffle with victories coming over No. 4 Micky Phillippi of Pittsburgh and No. 9 Cam Sykora of North Dakota State … Earned eight ranked wins on the season according to Intermat … Picked up two ranked wins while wrestling unattached at the Journeymen Classic.
