2023-24: Appeared in three open tournaments at 174 pounds with a 9-2 record … Finished the season with back-to-back titles at the Lindenwood Open and 918 Open … Had three pins, including a pair in his final two bouts of the season.
2022-23 (Redshirt Year): Did not compete for OSU while redshirting.
High School: Wrestled alongside his brother, Cael, at Stillwater High School, where he compiled a 117-38 career record … Was a finalist at the 6A Oklahoma state championships at 220 pounds as a senior… Qualified for the Oklahoma state championships three times … Was the class valedictorian at Stillwater High School.
Personal: Son of Jeremy and Lisa Hughes, who both graduated from OSU … Has a sister, Bella-Kate, as well as brother, Cael, who is also on the Cowboy wrestling team … Member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard and is in the Army ROTC program at Oklahoma State … Majoring in Applied Exercise Science: Strength and Conditioning at OSU.
