2023-24 (Redshirt Year): Wrestled at the Lindenwood Open and Bob Smith Open at 157 pounds while maintaining his redshirt … Went 6-2 with a runner-up result at the Lindenwood Open … Four of his six wins came by pin.
High School: Attended Katy High School, where he was named 6A Texas Wrestler of the Year after a terrific senior season … Captured the Texas state championship at 165 pounds as a senior, completing a perfect 45-0 season … Qualified for the state tournament as a sophomore and junior.
