Cali Mercer begins her seventh year overall with Cowgirl Basketball and the second as a full-time member of head coach Jacie Hoyt’s staff.
Mercer was named the program’s Director of Basketball Administration prior to the start of the 2025-26 season after serving as a manager and then graduate assistant for the previous five years. In her current role, Mercer oversees all team travel logistics, manages the program's day-to-day operations, and handles the calendars and schedules for the coaching and support staff and student-athletes.
Oklahoma State has reached the NCAA Tournament four times in her six years with the program.
Mercer spent the 2024-25 season as a graduate assistant. In that capacity, she played an integral role in the program's travel preparations and was instrumental in practice and gameday operations, including practice setup, gear inventory, and running the ShotTracker system, among other tasks.
Mercer spent four seasons as a student manager with the OSU program, serving as head manager during her junior and senior years. A native of Miami, Okla., Mercer graduated in the spring of 2024 with a degree in sports management and a minor in marketing.
Mercer is a Manager of the Year award recipient from Grow the Game, an organization founded in 2020 to connect current and former student managers.
Her father, Rusty, was a manager for the Cowboy program under legendary head coach Eddie Sutton from 1990-94 and her brother, Caden served in the same capacity for the Cowboys from 2017-21.
