June 11, 2026 | Cowgirl Basketball
IRVING, Texas – The Oklahoma State women's basketball team's league opponents for the 2026-27 season are set as the Big 12 Conference revealed the opponent matrix today.
The Cowgirls are coming off a 24-10 season with a 12-6 mark in Big 12 play that saw OSU reach its third NCAA Tournament in four years under head coach Jacie Hoyt and secure the program's first NCAA Tournament win since 2021.
Hoyt and Co. reeled in the nation's unanimous top-ranked transfer class in the offseason, highlighted by two of the top 10 transfers in the country, Audi Crooks and Liv McGill, who were ranked No. 1 and 2, respectively, by CBS Sports. The star-studded class is bolstered by a handful of USA Today Top 100 transfers, including Ellie Brueggemann (No. 36), Yuting Deng (No. 80) and Nene Ndiaye (No. 95).
Each school has a home-and-home with three conference opponents, and faces the other 12 opponents once, with six at home and six on the road for an 18-game league schedule.
OSU has home-and-home series lined up against Colorado, Iowa State and Kansas.
The Cowgirls' Big 12 home slate features games against Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas State, TCU, Cincinnati and West Virginia. Arizona, Arizona State and Cincinnati all head to Stillwater for just the second time in their school's history.
The Pokes hit the road for matchups against BYU, Utah, Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston and UCF. OSU will be making its second and third trips to Utah and Houston, respectively, in program history.
Opponents were selected to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness. The complete Big 12 schedule with dates, times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
The 2026-27 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship is set for March 3-7 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
