The 2025-26 campaign will mark the first as an assistant coach for the Cowgirl program for Robyne Bostick, who spent the past three seasons in the role of director of player development.
The 2024-25 campaign was a history-making season for the program.
The Cowgirls racked up 25 wins on the season, the third-best total in program history and earned their second NCAA berth in three seasons under head coach Jacie Hoyt.
OSU scored a program-best 113 points against Chicago State, before surpassing the mark with 125 points against Alabama State. The 125 points are the sixth most in a single game in Big 12 history. Against Alabama State, the Cowgirls also set program records for points in a quarter (36), points in a half (69), made 3-pointers (20), assists (34) and margin of victory (76).
The Cowgirls' 14 Big 12 wins were the most league wins recorded in a single season in program history.
OSU's 85-55 win over No. 12 Kansas State tied the second-largest win over a Top 25 squad in program history.
OSU entered the Associated Press Top 25 on Jan. 13 for the first time since Feb. 19, 2018. and reached No. 17 in the AP Top 25 poll, its highest ranking since reaching No. 17 in 2016. Additionally, the Cowgirls earned their first win over a top-10 opponent since defeating No. 7 UCLA on Dec. 8, 2017 when they knocked off No. 9 TCU on Jan. 22.
Bostick was part of the Cowgirl turnaround in 2022-23 that included a trip to the NCAA Tournament as well as a 20-win season.
"Coach Bostick has a tremendous amount of experience both as a player and coach that will translate directly to our players and their development," Cowgirl head coach Jacie Hoyt said. "She has a passion for molding young lives and I know she will pour everything she has into helping our players be at their best both on and off the floor."
Bostick made her way to Stillwater after serving as the associate head coach for Hoyt during their successful stint at Kansas City from 2017-22.
During the 2016-17 campaign, Bostick directed the Northern Arizona program as its interim head coach. Overall, she worked as a member of the Lumberjacks' staff from 2012-17.
Bostick worked on the staff at Long Island from 2002-04 after spending the 2001-02 campaign at Princeton as an assistant coach.
Additionally, she worked as an assistant coach at Air Force from 1998-2001 after spending the 1997-98 season at Vanderbilt and 1996-97 working at James Madison.
From 2004 to 2006, Bostick worked as a morale, welfare and recreation supervisor on United States military bases in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
A member of the Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Fame, Bostick enjoyed a productive playing career at Saint Joseph's University. As a senior, she was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Hawks on her way to earning all-district and all-conference honors. She was inducted into the school's women's basketball hall of fame in 2000.
Bostick received her degree from Saint Joseph's in 1993 in psychology before earning a master's degree in sports and exercise science with an emphasis in sports administration from Northern Colorado in 2009.
