Fall 2010: Was the Cowgirls' best performer in her first fall competition at OSU ... wrapped up singles play with a team-best 10-4 record ... won third place in her bracket at the Sooner Fall Invitational and reached the quarterfinal of the ITA Central Regional Championships ... teamed with three doubles partners for a combined fall record of 5-4, including a team-best 5-2 record with Sasha Belova.
Junior: Did not arrive at OSU until the spring season,but didn't waste any time developing into a solid performer for the Cowgirls ... won the Big 12 conference co-championship at No. 4 singles after going 9-2 in conference matches ... named the 2010 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year of her outstanding season ... finished the spring with a 17-5 overall singles record, competing at No. 2, 3 and 4 singles ... finished with an overall doubles record of 11-10 with four partners, most notably Sasha Belova as the duo went 6-1.
Before OSU: Played at Indiana State University where she won the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the year award in 2007 ... was also MVC Individual Champion in 2007 and 2008 ... played with the Algerian national team ... won under 18 nationals three times ... was under 18 and under 16 Arab champion ... semi-finalist in African championship under 18s.
Personal: Daughter of Miloud and Mama Meghoufel ... born in Oran, Algeria ... has one brother, Mohamed Ali Meghoufel, who plays for the Oran soccer team ... competed in track and cross country until she was 16 ... majoring in Aviation.
