Cowgirl Tennis Adds Arina Malygina

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team has signed Arina Malygina to its roster for the 2026-27 season, as was announced on Wednesday by interim head coach Sergey Avdeyev.
A Russia native, Malygina joins the Cowgirls with an impressive resume that saw her reach as high as No. 179 in the ITF rankings. In Russia, she's collected two Central Federal District Championships in 2023 and 2025 in singles. She also reached the quarterfinals in singles in the Russian National Championship under 19 in 2024.
Internationally, she has captured singles titles at the J60 Cairo in 2024, J100 Fergana in 2024, J100 Cairo in 2025 and J100 Fergana in 2025. In doubles, she's added titles at the J100 Fergana in 2024, J100 Egypt in 2025 and was a finalist at the J200 Fergana in 2025.
Malygina is the second signee for the Cowgirls, joining Karolina Lincer as the newest additions to its roster for next season.
