2019 Cross Country: Competed three times … helped the Cowboys to a first-place finish at the Hurricane Preview by finishing 12th with a time of 20:43 in the 4 Miles.
2019 Outdoors: Ran eight races for the Cowboys… Kicked off his season with a win in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.66 at the Arkansas Spring Invitational… Ran a personal-best 1:51.27 in the 800 meters at the Stanford Invitational… Was runner-up in the 1,500 meters at the John McDonnell Invitational with a personal-best time of 3:45.88… Was a member of the champion 4x1,600-meter relay team and fifth-place distance medley relay team at the Drake Relays… Earned All-Big 12 status with a fourth-place finish in the 1,500 meters at the Big 12 Championships… Ran in the 1,500 meters prelims at the NCAA West Regional.
2019 Indoors: Ran seven races for OSU… Kicked off his season with a win in the 1,000 meters at the Bob Timmons Challenge… Put down a top-five finish in the 800 meters at the Razorback Invitational… Was the runner-up in the 800 meters at the Arkansas Qualifier with a near personal best time of 1:51.73… Earned his third career All-Big 12 honors with a personal-best time of 2:27.72 in the 1,000 meters to place fourth at the Big 12 Championships.
2018 Cross Country: Competed twice for the Cowboys… Scored points for the Pokes with a top-25 finish at the Hurricane Invitational.
2018 Outdoors: Ran six races for OSU, five of which came in the 1,500 meters… Kept his success rolling from the previous indoor season with another All-Big 12 honor, for he scored for the Cowboys in the 1,500 meters… Smashed his previous personal best mark in the 1,500 meters with a 3:46.94, beating his previous best by 12 seconds… Never finished a race lower than eighth place.
2018 Indoors: Earned his first career All-Big 12 honor in the 800 meters with an eighth place finish in a time of 1:54.66… Ran a season-best time in the 800 meters at the Razorback Invitational where he finished the race in 1:51.91… Had three top-10 finishes, including two at the Big 12 Championships.
2017 Cross Country: Did not compete.
2017 Outdoors: Started the season with a second-place finish and a season’s best 3:59.22 in the 1,500 meters at the Tulsa Duels... Was a member of the victorious distance medley relay team at the Drake Relays... Represented the Cowboys at the Big 12 Championships in the 1,500 meters.
2017 Indoors: In his first season as a Cowboy, he competed at five meets... Ran the 800 and 1,000 meters as well as the 600 yards... Finished 13th in the 800 meters at the Big 12 Championships... Best finish came at the Arkansas Qualifier where he placed fourth... Ran a personal best in the 1,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invite with a time of 2:31.93...
2016 Cross Country: Did not compete.
High School: Garrett Calhoun was a one of the top-athletes at Timberline High School… He finished runner-up at the State meet in the 800-meter run twice in 2015 and 2016… At the state meet in the 1,600, Calhoun grabbed another runner-up finish in 2015… He was named the track and cross country MVP in his senior season and received recognition as the top distance runner in the squad.
Personal: Garrett Calhoun is the son of Gary and Melissa Calhoun… Born on April 14, 1998 in Boise Idaho.
