International Competition
Qualified for the 2023 World Championships in the 800 Meters, finishing 29th overall with a time of 2:00.79… Finished third overall at the 2023 European Athletics Team Championships Second Division with her time of 4:09.48, helping Lithuania secure promotion to the first division… Currently a seven-time Lithuanian national champion… Earned the title Lithuanian national junior record in the 400-meter hurdles… Finished top-10 in the 400-meter hurdles at 2017 and 2018 World Juniors... Competed at the 2022 European Championships for Lithuania in the 800 Meters.
2023 Outdoors
Galvydyte maintained her status as one of the top middle-distance runners in the country during the outdoor season… Opened her campaign with two solid performances of 2:03.21 and 4:14.76 in the 800 and 1,500 Meters, respectively, at the Bryan Clay Invitational… Helped the Cowgirls to a pair of runner-up finishes in the DMR and 4x1,500 Meter Relays at the Penn Relays… Took home her first individual Big 12 title in the 800 Meters and earned a second All-Big 12 honor in the 4x400 Meter Relay… Was the second-fastest qualifier at the NCAA West Prelims with her time of 2:02.99, earning her a spot at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas… Dropped a new personal-best and became an NCAA Runner-Up in the 800 Meters with her time of 2:00.47 at the NCAA Championships… Went on to break Sinclaire Johnson’s 800 Meter school record with her time of 2:00.29 at the European Team Championships.
2023 Indoors
Continued her success from the cross country season with a sizzling start at the Boston University Sharon Colyear Danville Season Opener, running a personal-best Mile time of 4:32.84… She followed up that performance with a victory in the 1,000 Meters at the Arkansas Invitational… Placed fourth individually in the 800 Meters and third in the DMR at the Razorback Invitational… Added two more fourth-place finishes at the Husky Classic and Arkansas Qualifier in the 800 Meters and DMR, with the latter setting the school record…  Took home her first Big 12 title in the DMR and narrowly missed out on a second in the 800 Meters, finishing just thousandths of a second behind the winner… Earned All-America honors in the DMR as she ran the 800-Meter leg in Albuquerque, N.M.
2022 Cross CountryÂ
Asserted herself as a dominant distance runner and became a staple of OSU’s lineup in the postseason… Joined the cross country conversation at the perfect time, as she helped the Cowgirls bring home a Big 12 title for the second straight year… She reached All-Big 12 status in cross country for the first time in her career as the ninth finisher overall and tabbed a 20:59.7 finish in the 6K… She followed that performance up with an even faster time in the NCAA Midwest Regionals, where she finished 16th in 20:33.3, becoming an All-Region honoree… Competed in the NCAA Cross Country Championships for the first time, and picked up another career best finish in 20:27.1, four minutes faster than her previous best at the beginning of the season.Â
2022 Outdoors
Continued her momentum from her breakout indoor season to a wildly successful 2022 outdoor campaign, where she finished every race she entered inside the top 5... Opened her sophomore outdoor season with an 800 Meter victory at the Joe Walker Invitational... She also picked up a third-place finish at the same meet in the 1,500 Meters with a personal-best time of 4:19.47... From there, she helped the Cowgirl relays to a couple of top-2 results in the 4x800 and Distance Medley Relays... She entered the postseason at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, where she earned her first outdoor All-Big 12 honor with her second-place finish in the 800 Meters, finishing behind only Baylor national champion Aaliyah Miller... From there, she advanced to the NCAA West Prelims, where she earned a pair of third-place finishes in the first round and quarterfinals, which gave her a berth at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore... In the semifinals, Galvydyte clocked the second-fastest time at 2:02.46 to advance to the eight-woman final. In the final, she held serve in the middle of the pack before exploding down the stretch for a third-place finish in her first career NCAA final with a time of 2:01.76. Her time was not only a personal best, but ranked third in program history, behind only Cowgirl national champions Sinclaire Johnson and Natalja Piliusina.
2022 Indoors
Galvydyte emerged as one of the top middle-distance runners in the country during the 2022 season... Kicked off her season with a second-place finish at the Wooo Pig Classic in the 1,000 Meters, clocking a time of 2:46.80, which ranked eighth in program history... Was a member of both second-place DMR squads for the Cowgirls, the latter of which ran 10:59.87, which ranked fourth in program history... Picked up her first victory of the season at the JDL DMR Invitational in the 800 Meters with a time of 2:05.22... At the Big 12 Championships, her time of 2:03.89 in the 800 Meter final was just two-hundreths of a second away from securing her first Big 12 title as she placed second overall... Was a member of the third-place 4x400 Meter Relay squad that set the school record at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 3:36.22... Advanced to the NCAA Championships in the 800, where she finished ninth overall, just .20 away from making the championship final.
2021 Cross Country
Competed once during the cross country season at the Chile Pepper XC Festival, finishing with a 5K time of 18:45.3.
2021 Indoors
Competed at three meets for the Cowgirls in seven events in total… placed in no lower than eighth in every race she appeared in… tabbed sixth- and eighth-place finishes in the 800 meters and 4x400 meter relay, respectively, in the Wooo Pig Classic… set a career best in the 600 yards at the Texas Tech Shootout; her 1:22.59 pace earned her fifth place… turned in a runner-up performance in the 800 meters (2:10.51) at the Texas Tech Shootout… contributed to the runner-up Cowgirl DMR unit at the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships that finished in 11:21.42.
2020 Cross Country
Raced once for the Cowgirls… her personal best 24:29.4 in the women’s 6K at the OSU Invitational placed her 55th.
2020 Indoors
Competed in the 600 yards, 400m, 800m and 4x400m relay… finished sixth in the 800m at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 2:09.48… was also part of the relay team that finished sixth at the conference meet in a time of 3:40.14… time was the third fastest in the event in program history… placed second in the 600 yards at the Red Raider Invitational with a time of 1:24.34… time marked the ninth fastest in the event in school history… helped the Cowgirls 4x400m relay team to a third-place finish at the Arkansas Qualifier.
