Spring 2014:Finished his junior campaign 10-10 in singles and 18-7 in doubles...earned All-American status in doubles with partner Arjun Kadhe...reached the NCAA Doubles Championship semifinals, making them the first Cowboys doubles team to do so...Defeated five top-20 teams in doubles, as well as a No. 27 and a No. 40 duo...took out the No. 8 team of Pieters/Wagland of Georgia in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(3), to earn All-American status at the NCAA doubles tournament...earned a No. 8 final doubles ranking with Kadhe...also played with Sebastian Sachs and Matt Campbell...played primarily at the No. 1 spot in singles, with appearances at the No. 2 spot...defeated No. 34 Mikelis Libietis of Tennessee, 6-5(2), 6-5(4), to help the Pokes defeat the No. 6 Volunteers, 4-2...faced 12 ranked opponents...notched a 6-3, 7-5 win over Shaun Bernstein of Michigan at the NCAA team championship...nine of his 10 wins came in straight sets...reached a season-high singles ranking of No. 61 on March 25...finished the season ranked No. 89.
Fall 2013: Performed only in international play, finishing with an 8-3 singles record in ITF Futures competition...nearly knocked off top-seeded Daniel Milton of the United Kingdom in the F27 Futures' main draw opening round, eventually coming up short in a 6-7(0), 6-4, 6-7(2) defeat...also pulled off an impressive run in the F28 Futures before being ousted by TCU's Arnau Dachs.
2012-13: Redshirt - did not compete.
Personal: Born June 8, 1991...majoring in business...has one sister, Julia...father, Burkhold, and sister, Julia, both played professional beach volleyball...played volleyball in high school, placing third and fifth in the German championships...enjoys hanging out with friends.
