Summer Foreign Tour
• scored 24 points in four games, including a tour-high 10 against the Gran Canaria All-Stars on Aug. 14.
• shot 47.4 percent from the floor, but missed on all five attempts from beyond the arc.
• also recorded 11 rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.
2011-12 (Junior season)
• played in just 13 games, starting 11, before suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during the Virginia Tech game; missed the entire Big 12 Conference season.
• reached double figures on seven occasions, including a season-high 16 against New Mexico in the All-College Classic.
• grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds against Langston, his second-career double-figure rebounding game.
• dished out a career-best five assists against UTSA.
2010-11 (Sophomore season)
• was named to the Big 12 All-Rookie squad. He was joined by Baylor's Perry Jones, Ricardo Ratliffe of Missouri, and the Texas duo of Cory Joseph and Tristan Thompson.
• played in all 34 games and started 11 during the middle portion of the schedule.
• first start came at Colorado where he responded with 21 points.
• followed that up with a career-high 29 points against Iowa State on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor and a perfect 12-of-12 from the free-throw line.
• recorded 20 double-figure scoring games and five 20-point contests.
• grabbed a career-best 11 rebounds against Kansas State.
• recorded at least 10 free throws in four games.
• ranked 14th in the Big 12 Conference in free-throw percentage (75.5%) and had the sixth-most free-throw attempts in the league (192).
2009-10 (Redshirt season)
• sat out the 2009-10 season as a redshirt, practicing with the Cowboys but not competing during the spring semester.
• transferred to Oklahoma State at mid-year following graduation from Vincennes in December of `09.
2008-09 (Freshman season)
• played in 24 games and started 20 as a freshman at Vincennes University, a junior college in Indiana.
• averaged 14.9 points while shooting 51.6 percent from the floor for the Trailblazers.
• also averaged 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
• recorded a double-double with career highs in both points (23) and rebounds (10) at Kaskaskia on Nov. 11.
• finished the season with 22 double-figure scoring games, including four 20-point contests.
• missed seven games during January with a lower leg injury.
• team finished 22-9 and lost to Harcum in the first round of the NJCAA district tournament.
• considered one of the top junior college prospects in the country following his freshman season, ranked as high as the No. 1 juco recruit by Midwest Scouting Service.
High School
• played one year at Stoneridge Prepatory school in Simi Valley, Calif.
• played on a Belmont Shore summer league squad which won the 2007 Rbk Summer Championships.
• teammates during the summer included Brandon Jennings (Milwaukee Bucks), Renaldo Woolridge (Tennessee), Leonard Washington (USC), Jeff Withey (Kansas) and Darius Morris (Michigan).
• attended Sonora High School in California as a senior in 2005-06.
• was named both first-team All-CIF Division II-A and first-team All-Freeway League in 2006.
• averaged 20 points and 8.9 rebounds per game as a senior.
• was named an All-Star at the 2006 Pangos All-America Camp.
• received second-team all-tournament honors at the 2005 BigTime Tournament in Las Vegas.
• ranked as the No. 63 player nationally by HoopScoop.
• was recruited by DePaul, Louisville, Oklahoma, South Florida and Washington State out of high school.
Personal
Born Oct 25, 1988, Jéan-Paul is the son of Linda Hannah. He has two sisters, Cristal and Jéanier, and a brother, Jéan-Pierre. He enjoys playing video games, reading and playing chess in his spare time. He is very interested in science, and watches several science-related TV channels. He also played baseball for 13 seasons. Jéan-Paul is majoring in economics at Oklahoma State.
