Sophomore Year (2026-27):
2026 CUSA Sixth-Man of the Year is coming off a strong freshman season at Sam Houston… Memphis native was a two-time Tennessee state champion before spending his senior year at Sunrise Christian Academy, where he teamed up with Cowboy forward Mekhi Ragland.
At Sam Houston (2025-26):
Conference USA Sixth-Man of the Year during the 2025-26 season at Sam Houston… Also earned honorable mention all-conference and All-Freshman team status… 3x CUSA Freshman of the Week (Dec. 8, Feb. 23, March 2)… Appeared in all 34 games with 12 starts for a Bearkat team that won 22 regular season games, finished runner-up in the CUSA standings and earned an NIT bid… Averaged 11.5 points and 2.5 assists in 25.7 minutes while posting six games with 20-or-more points… Finished the year strong, scoring at least a dozen points in each of the last 11 games after moving into the starting lineup on a full-time basis. He averaged over 17 points in that span… Excelled at getting to the foul line, sinking 119-of-159 (.748) for the year… Per KenPom, ranked 79th nationally in free throw rate, attempting six free throws for every 10 field goals attempts… Finished among CUSA’s top-10 in fouls drawn (5.2 per 40 minutes)… Converted 39-of-109 three-pointers (.358)… Part of a Bearkat unit that ranked 36th nationally in adjusted tempo and led CUSA in fastbreak points…Found the Gallagher-Iba Arena rims to his liking, dropping 17 points during Sam Houston’s Dec. 2 visit to OSU.

Played his senior season at national powerhouse Sunrise Christian Academy near Wichita, Kansas, competing in the EYBL Scholastic League against some of the nation’s top basketball prospects… Part of a team that also included Mekhi Ragland… Averaged 11.8 points, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game… Prior to that, was a two-time state champion at Memphis’ First Assembly Christian School (FACS)… Helped the Crusaders to a 73-11 record over three seasons… Averaged more than 20 points per game as a junior in 2023-24 and earned all-state honors in Division II Class A as well as a second team All-Metro nod from the Memphis Commercial Appeal … Made the all-state-tournament team after helping FACS rally from a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit in the championship game… Coached by D’Marius Wilkes… Starred on the Adidas circuit with Hoop City Elite during the summer of 2024, earning a Tennessee top-10 player ranking from Prep Hoops.
