2008-09 (Redshirt Year): Compiled a 19-2 overall record competing exclusively at open tournaments ... Of his 19 wins, 13 included bonus points ... Claimed a pair of open tournament titles, winning the Missouri Open and the Loper Open ... Runner-up at the Oklahoma Open and third-place finisher at the Central Missouri Open ... Rattled off 12 straight wins at one point of the year ... His 19 wins tied for the lead among Oklahoma State's redshirts ... Was particularly dominant at the Loper Open, winning his first match by fall before racking up three straight major decisions to advance to the finals, where he knocked off teammate Neil Erisman, who finished the season ranked in the top 10 nationally.
