April 04, 2026 | Cowboy Cross Country & Track
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's outdoor track & field finished successful trips to the Florida Relays and Stanford Invitational, headlined by Kevin Kemboi's record jump.
At the Florida Relays, true freshman Kevin Kemboi set the outdoor Triple Jump program record with a leap of 16.34 meters, besting E.B. Schaeffer's 15.55-meter jump from the Drake Relays in 1978. Kemboi now holds the indoor and outdoor program records for the Triple Jump after jumping 16.37 meters at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational in February.
On the track, sophomore Mason Page finished the 400 Meters in 45.82 seconds, beating his personal best by more than a second and giving Page the fourth-best time in program history.
On the women's side, Madisyn Jackson logged a time of 54.40 to take the eighth-ranked time in program history in her first outdoor season as a Cowgirl. Jinah Mickens-Malik captured a new personal-best time after her performance in the women's 800 Meters, clocking in at 2:04.56 and earning a finish in the top 15.
Over at the Stanford Invitational, freshman Alex Riley took fourth in the men's 800 Meters with his time of 1:48.85 to kick off his first outdoor action of the season. The time is just three-tenths shy of earning Riley a spot on the program's all-time list.
In the women's 800 Meters, two Cowgirls clocked top-five finishes to wrap up the day on a high note. Paige Stuart racked up a spot on the podium with her time of 2:06.89, earning her a third-place finish in her respective section, while Madi Surber had a strong finish of her own after her time of 2:07.57 landed her in fifth place.
Up next, the Cowboy and Cowgirl outdoor track & field teams will head to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Arkansas Spring Invitational on April 11.
