April 22, 2026 | Cowgirl Golf
DALLAS – The Oklahoma State women's golf team tees off in Texas on Thursday at the Big 12 Championship in pursuit of the 26th conference championship in program history.
The Dallas Athletic Club will host the 2026 Big 12 Championship. Founded in 1919, the century-old club features two Jack Nicklaus-designed courses. The club's Gold Course, a par-72, 6,270-yard track, hosts the tournament.
Oklahoma State is coming off its third team victory of the season after going 25-under at the Huntington Bank Collegiate (Apr. 6-7). Marta Silchenko also tied for first place individually, the first win of her collegiate career. This marked the first Oklahoma State sweep of a tournament's team and individual titles since the 2023 Big 12 Championship.
Format:
The Big 12 Championship is a 54-hole stroke-play tournament composed of three 18-hole rounds, with one round played each day, Thursday-Saturday. Each of the 14 teams will bring five golfers, with the top four scores counting toward daily totals.

Big 12 Breakdown
Oklahoma State posted a 21-14 (.600) record against conference foes this season.
The Cowgirls faced off against every Big 12 squad except Cincinnati and Kansas. OSU notably went 5-0 against No. 10-seeded TCU, 3-1 vs. No. 7 Houston, and 2-1 vs. No. 1 UCF.
Eleven Big 12 teams are ranked among the nation's top 50, with four in the top 25. Oklahoma State is the conference's second-highest-ranked team behind only No. 15 UCF.
If It Ain't Broke…
Of the six Cowgirls in head coach Annie Young's lineup this week, five played for OSU in last year's Big 12 Championship.
In 2025, Oklahoma State tied for first place after 54 holes before falling in a playoff to champion Arizona and runner-up Arizona State.
Marta Silchenko and Grace Kilcrease each earned All-Big 12 Tournament honors last year, tying for fifth place. Silchenko will play from Young's No. 1 spot, while Kilcrease fills the fifth.
Yu-Chu Chen will make her Big 12 Championship debut in OSU's No. 2 spot. The true freshman is coming off a career-best performance at the Huntington Bank Collegiate, where she placed fifth at 7-under.
Summer Lee, Oklahoma State's third-highest finisher at last year's tournament (T-14), fills the lineup's No. 3 spot this week.
Ellie Bushnell was the fourth and final Cowgirl to earn a top-20 finish in 2025, tying for 19th. The junior will play as OSU's No. 4 golfer.
Sophomore Tarapath Panya will serve as the Cowgirls' substitute, as she did last year.
On the Hunt
Multiple Cowgirls are within striking distance of significant milestones entering this week.
Ellie Bushnell currently sits at 96 birdies on the season. Four more would secure the first 100-birdie season of her career.
Thursday's opening round will also mark Bushnell's 100th career round as a Cowgirl.
After playing all three rounds in the 60s at the Huntington Bank Collegiate, Marta Silchenko needs just one more such effort to reach 20 for her career. Nine of Silchenko's 19 career rounds in the 60s have come this season.
Senior Grace Kilcrease is just 7 birdies away from 400 for her career, currently sitting at 393.
Kilcrease, a 2025 honorable mention All-American and 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur participant, is also closing in on 25 career rounds in the 60s, with 23 to date.
25 conference titles. 31 NCAA Championship appearances. 44 All-Americans. For the latest news and updates on Oklahoma State Women's Golf, visit okstate.com or follow @CowgirlGolf on Instagram/Facebook and @OSUCowgirlGolf on X.
