Quick Summary:
- No. 7 Houston rallied late for an 82–75 win over Oklahoma State on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.
- OSU built an early cushion, leading by as many as 13 points near the 6:00 mark of the first half. Isaiah Coleman capped a 9–1 run with a pair of transition baskets to give the Cowboys a 32–19 advantage.
- The Cowboys carried a 41–37 lead into halftime, fueled by strong starts from Anthony Roy and Kanye Clary, who combined for 20 first-half points on six made 3-pointers.
- Roy, one of four seniors honored in pregame ceremonies, led OSU with 18 points on 4-of-11 shooting. Fellow senior Christian Coleman added seven rebounds, including four on the offensive glass.
- OSU controlled the boards, outrebounding Houston 36–33 and holding an 18–9 edge in second-chance points.
- Houston caught fire from deep after the break, hitting 8-of-15 threes in the second half. Back-to-back triples in the final 90 seconds stretched a one-point lead to seven and sealed the comeback.
- Chase McCarty sparked the Cougars, knocking down 6-of-9 from beyond the arc on his way to a career-high 20 points.
- Freshman Kingston Flemings added 13 points and nine assists with just one turnover for Houston.
- Turnovers proved costly for OSU. Houston held a slight 11–9 edge in the category but converted those opportunities into a 21–6 advantage in points off turnovers.

- This was the only scheduled meeting between the teams in 2025-26.
- Houston's win ties the all-time series at 13-13.
- The Cougars have won their last three visits to Stillwater under Kelvin Sampson. They were 0-8 prior to his arrival.

- OSU lost at home for just the fifth time this season (14-5).
- The Cowboys are 884-273 over 88 seasons in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
- OSU's Big 12 Tournament seed will be decided later this afternoon when Baylor hosts Utah (4 p.m. CT).
- If Baylor defeats Utah, OSU will drop to the No. 14 seed (8:30 p.m. CT Tuesday vs. the No. 11 seed).
- If Baylor loses to Utah, OSU will be the No. 13 seed (11:30 a.m. Tuesday vs. the No. 12 seed).
- All first-round Big 12 Tournament action airs on ESPN+.
- Colorado is currently in line for the No. 11 seed and Arizona State No. 12, however if ASU wins at Iowa State (1 p.m. Saturday) and CU falls to Arizona (10 p.m.), their seeds will flip.
- The Cowboys dropped just their second game when out-rebounding their opponent (14-2).
- The Cowboys also lost for just the second time this season when tied or leading at halftime. They were 15-2 coming in (30-4 under Lutz).
- The Cowboys shot 89.5% (17-19) from the line, a new high in Big 12 play this season.
Individual Notes:
- Senior Anthony Roy added four more threes to his total to move into a tie for ninth on OSU's single-season list (85) alongside Phil Forte (2016-17).
- Roy's 57 threes in Big 12 play are the third-most ever by a Cowboy behind Keiton Page (64 in 2011-12) and Thomas Dziagwa (61 in 2018-19).
- Freshman Benjamin Ahmed (11 pts) has now had back-to-back games with a career high in points, going 3-3 from the field and 5-5 at the line.
- Kanye Clary (4 assists) has led the assists a team-high 19 times this season.Â
