STILLWATER – Oklahoma State basketball fans can kick off Homecoming weekend with an afternoon of free hoops when the Cowboys welcome in-state rival Tulsa to Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday, Oct. 23.

Admission is FREE, and parking around the arena will be open. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Season ticket holders will receive first priority for their regular seat locations, with open seating available in the 200 and 300 levels.
The game will not be televised or streamed, but fans can listen to Dave Hunziker and John Holcomb on the Cowboy Radio Network and Varsity Network app. Live statistics will be available at okstate.statbroadcast.com.
A Second Look at the Cowboys:
Friday's matchup is the second of three preseason exhibitions for Oklahoma State, which is entering its third season under head coach Steve Lutz.
The Cowboys opened exhibition play Oct. 11 with a 99-89 loss to preseason Mountain West favorite New Mexico. Freshman guard Anthony Felesi led five double-figure scorers with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Junior center Julius Halaifonua added 16 points, while Luka Bogavac and Benjamin Ahmed contributed 13 apiece. Kashie Natt chipped in 10.
OSU dominated the glass, pulling down 22 offensive rebounds on its way to a 45-35 overall rebounding advantage. The Cowboys outscored the Lobos 27-12 on second-chance opportunities and received 59 points from their bench.
The Cowboys led by four early in the second half before New Mexico seized control with a 12-0 run. Fouls also proved costly, with the Lobos attempting 48 free throws and converting 36. OSU was whistled for 33 personal fouls, including 22 after halftime.
The Cowboys played without frontcourt contributors Parsa Fallah, Jordan Burks and Mekhi Ragland, while starting point guard Kanye Clary missed the second half with an injury.
Scouting Tulsa:
The Golden Hurricane, led by fifth-year head coach Eric Konkol, are coming off a 30-8 season that ended with a runner-up finish in the NIT. Tulsa defeated New Mexico in the NIT semifinals before falling to Auburn, 92-86, in overtime in the championship game.
The Golden Hurricane will pair five returners from last year's squad with nine newcomers, including eight Division I transfers.
OSU leads the all-time series with Tulsa 77-39 and has won the last three regular-season meetings. The teams last met Dec. 4, 2024, when the Cowboys earned a 76-55 road victory at the Reynolds Center.
Extra Exhibitions:
This is the third season that NCAA Division I teams have been permitted to face one another in preseason exhibitions and the first in which teams can play as many as three.
OSU is 2-2 in those contests, beginning with an 89-78 home victory over SMU in October 2024. Last fall, the Cowboys defeated eventual NIT champion Auburn, 97-95, in overtime before falling to SMU, 86-71, in a pair of road exhibitions.
Up Next:
The Cowboys conclude their exhibition schedule Tuesday, Oct. 27, with a trip to Madison, Wis., to face Wisconsin at the Kohl Center. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.
The game will stream live on B1G+. Fans without a subscription can purchase a single-game pay-per-view pass for $8.99 at bigtenplus.com/oklahoma-state-vs-wisconsin-ppv.
