Opening Tips:
- The Oklahoma State Cowboys will look to even their Big 12 record Tuesday when they travel to Fort Worth to face the TCU Horned Frogs.
- Saturday in Stillwater, Vyctorius Miller sank three free throws with 2.8 seconds remaining to lift the Pokes an 84-83 win over Kansas State and give Steve Lutz his 100th career victory in five seasons as a head coach.
- Lutz is now one of just three active Division I coaches with 100+ career wins and less than five full seasons of experience, joined by Hubert Davis (UNC) and Tommy Lloyd (Arizona).
- OSU is 12-1 at home but still searching for its for true road win after setbacks at nationally-ranked Texas Tech and Iowa State.
- The Cowboys are looking to win in Fort Worth for the first time since 2017. They've dropped seven-in-a-row in Schollmaier Arena, three of them on buzzer-beating baskets. The latest came last February when Vasean Allette nailed a 25-footer with 0.8 seconds left to boost the Frogs to a 73-72 victory.
- OSU is averaging 88.2 points per game (19th nationally) -- 19.4 of them off of free throws (20th). The Cowboys are 14-0 when they score at least 81 points (0-4 when they don't).
- Five Cowboys are averaging at least 10 points per game, led by Anthony Roy (17.9 ppg). The 6-5 guard has scored in double-figures in all 15 games in an OSU uniform and is coming off his fifth 20-point performance (23 vs. K-State).
- Roy ranks among the NCAA three-point leaders by both volume (13th, 3.40) and percentage (13th, .447) and is shooting a Big 12-best 90.0% at the foul line.
- In five Big 12 contests, Roy has knocked down a league-best 23 threes on 47.9% accuracy.
- Miller (14.5 ppg) has also been a dangerous perimeter threat this season, sinking 32-of-70 (.457) treys.
- Senior forward Parsa Fallah (15.1 ppg) is the team's leading rebounder at 6.6 per game and his .619 field goal percentage charts among the top-20 nationally.
- Like Roy, Fallah has found another gear since the start of Big 12 play, averaging 20.0 points on 60.0% shooting through five games.
- Point guards Kanye Clary (4.9 apg) and Jaylen Curry (4.3 apg) lead one the nation's most aggressive attacks (11th in KenPom adjusted tempo). Curry ranks 18th nationally in A:TO ratio (3.45) and Clary is 21st in assists-per-40 (8.3).

- Vyctorius Miller converted three free throws with 2.8 seconds remaining to give OSU an 84-83 win and Steve Lutz his 100th career victory.
- Anthony Roy scored 23 points, Parsa Fallah added 17 points and nine rebounds, and Kanye Clary dished out six assists to help the Cowboys, improve to 12-1 on their home floor.
- K-State's PJ Haggerty had 21 points, capped by a jumper with 49 seconds left that gave the visitors an 83-81 advantage. OSU missed two cracks at the basket in the final seconds but twice secured offensive rebounds. Miller was fouled on the third attempt -- a corner three -- setting up the game-winning free throws.
- Haggerty then missed a desperation heave from half court on the final possession.
- The Wildcats shot 50% from the field and connected on 15-of-34 threes, but OSU outscored them 20-2 on free throws and finished +9 in the turnover column (16-7).
- The game featured 11 ties and 13 lead changes.
Fallah's three with 5:40 left gave OSU a brief 77-73 edge. That was the only two-possession lead for either side in the final 14:19.

Also Trending:
- Prior to Saturday, OSU had not been involved in a one-score game this season. Each of the first 17 contests were decided by at least five points in either direction.
- Anthony Roy's streak of 14 consecutive games with multiple threes is the second-longest in OSU history -- three shy of the record held by Obi Muonelo during the 2008-09 season.
- Vyctorius Miller finished with a career-high seven rebounds in the K-State win. The last was the biggest of them all – a loose ball tie-up after an OSU miss that saved possession for the Cowboys with four seconds left and ultimately set up his game-winning free throws.
- Andrija Vukovic matched his career-high with 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting.
- OSU is 14-7 in bounceback games under Lutz.
- Lutz used his 15th different starting five against K-State with Isaiah Coleman logging his first start since Dec. 6.

The Series with TCU:
- OSU is 29-15 all-time against TCU, however the Horned Frogs have taken 13 of the 25 Big 12 era meetings (2012-13 to present).
- The teams are playing home-and-home for the first time since the 2023. They'll meet against Feb. 14 in Stillwater.
- TCU rallied from a 17-point first half deficit to win the 2024 matchup in Stillwater and stole last year's game in Fort Worth, 73-72, on Vasean Allette's three-pointer buzzer beater.
- OSU has won 13 of the 17 games in Stillwater (11-3 in GIA).
- The Cowboys are 9-9 in Fort Worth but have lost their last seven visits. Three of those setbacks have come on the last possession.
- 2025 (TCU, 73-72): Down 72-70 with three seconds left, TCU threw a three-quarters court inbound pass that tipped into the hands of Vasean Allette for a 25-foot turnaround jumper.
- 2021 (TCU, 75-72): Tied at 72, Cade Cunningham missed a contested layup with five seconds left, and TCU made a quick outlet pass to Jaedon LeDee for a three-point play with 0.8 seconds on the clock.
- 2019 (TCU, 70-68): Thomas Dziagwa's corner three tied the game with 5.6 seconds to go, but TCU's JD Miller made a running jumper with one second left.
Â
Scouting the Horned Frogs:
- 10th year head coach Jamie Dixon is looking to get his alma mater back on track after a 16-16 finish to the 2024-25 season. Prior to it, the Horned Frogs had appeared in three consecutive NCAA Tournaments.
- TCU (11-7) is 1-4 in Big 12 play but all four losses have come by seven points or fewer and three were to nationally-ranked teams.
- The Frogs will be playing at home for the first time in 10 days, following last week's two-game road swing through BYU and Utah.
- TCU is averaging nearly 80 points (79.7) and holding opponents below 70 (69.6).
- The Horned Frogs are 25th in KenPom's defensive efficiency metric, due in large part to their ability to alter shots and generate turnovers. They rank 15th nationally in blocks (5.4) and among the top-40 in turnover margin (+3.2).
- 6-7 sophomore David Punch, the lone returning starter from last year, is the team's leading scorer (14.2) and rebounder (7.7) and sits high on the NCAA's individual blocks chart (19th, 2.3 bpg).
- The Horned Frogs have also gotten strong front court production out of 6-8 Xavier Edmonds (10.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg), the nation's top-ranked JUCO recruit out of Salt Lake Community College.
- Guards Jayden Pierre (10.4 ppg) and Micah Robinson (10.3 ppg) round out a group of four-double figure scorers.
- Pierre – a Providence transfer – has hit a team best 33 threes on a 41.3% accuracy.
- Former Iowa point guard Brock Harding (8.7 ppg) enters the week ranked among the top-25 nationally in assists per game (6.2). He sports a 3.08 assist-to-turnover ratio, with nearly as many steals (34) as turnovers (36).
Â
Matchup Mashup:
- Robert Jennings is from the Dallas suburb of Desoto (35 miles southeast of Forth Worth).
- OSU forward Parsa Fallah played with TCU guard Liutauras Lelevicius last season at Oregon State. The pair helped the Beavers to 20 regular season wins.
- With forward Robert Jennings out for the season, OSU will not suit up a single player who saw action in last year's game against TCU.
Â
A Cowboy Win Would...
- Push their record to 15-4, matching last year's regular season win total (15-16).
- Even their Big 12 record at 3-3.
- Be their first Big 12 road victory since Feb. 19, 2024 at Cincinnati, snapping a 14-game streak.
- Be their first in Fort Worth since 2016, ending a seven-game skid.
- Raise their all-time series lead over TCU to 30-15 (10-9 in Fort Worth).
A Cowboy Loss Would...
- Drop them to 14-5 (2-4 Big 12).
- Be their 15th consecutive Big 12 road loss.
- Be their eighth straight to TCU in Fort Worth.
- Shrink their all-time series lead over the Horned Frogs to 29-16 and make them 9-10 all-time against TCU in Fort Worth.
