Cowboy Tennis Falls at No. 16 Baylor

WACO, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team dropped its final road match of the season at No. 16 Baylor, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Hawkins Tennis Center.
The win improves the Bears to 19-8 overall and 5-1 in the Big 12, while the loss drops the Cowboys to 8-13 overall and 1-5 in league action.
The Cowboys' lone point of the day came on court one, where No. 107 Isaac Becroft defeated No. 36 Devin Badenhorst, 6-4, 6-4, giving Becroft his second ranked win of the season. The OSU captain now has eight wins on the season.
Baylor claimed the match's opening point in doubles, as No. 86 Devin Badenhorst and Luc Koenig defeated Thomas Gadecki and Ian Bracks, 6-3, and No. 18 Oskar Brostrom and Marko Miladinovic bested Alessio Basile and Becroft, 6-3.
Baylor's Miladinovic took the second point of the afternoon, as he defeated Gadecki, 6-1, 6-3, on court six.
Baylor pushed the match to the brink after a 6-4, 6-3 win from No. 100 Zsombor Velcz over Basile.
Louis Bowden clinched the match for the Bears with his 6-1, 6-4 win over Ben Stecker on court four.
The Cowboys' leaders in wins, Derek Pham and Bracks, left their matches unfinished while both were in position to force third sets.
OSU will now head home for the final two matches of the regular season. The Cowboys face Wichita State on April 9 at 5 p.m. and No. 17 UCF on April 11 at noon.
