Cowgirl Duo Collects Academic Recognition
March 26, 2025 | Cowgirl Basketball
STILLWATER – Two members of the Oklahoma State women's basketball team, Anna Gret Asi and Macey Huard, were recognized for their work in the classroom with the announcement of the 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams as selected by the College Sports Communicators.
The distinction recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
A senior from Tartu, Estonia, Asi was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced April 16, 2025.
Asi played in 92 games over three seasons for the Cowgirls, making 60 starts during that span. She averaged 10.6 points per game and made 177 3-pointers, the fifth-best total in school history.
Huard competed in 31 games in her first season as a Cowgirl, averaging 6.4 points on the year. A native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., she scored 31 points in OSU's season opener, the highest point total ever recorded by a Cowgirl in her debut.
