Cowgirl Basketball signs veteran guard Callin Hake

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's basketball has bolstered its backcourt with the addition of veteran guard Callin Hake (pronounced CAL-lin Hay-ck), head coach Jacie Hoyt announced today.
Hake joins the Cowgirls following four seasons at Nebraska, where she played in 131 games with 68 starts and averaged 6.0 points with 2.4 rebounds per game. She helped the Cornhuskers reach the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three seasons and was named a team captain for the 2025-26 season.
"With the state of our roster being as solid as it was, it was important to make sure that if we were going to add anyone, they had elite character and a team-first mentality. Callin is all that and more!" Hoyt said. "She's a great fit for what we're building within our program. She's exactly the kind of player we're looking for in our system because of her ability to make threes and stretch the floor. We are most excited about her defensive presence and the energy she'll bring to our team."
Hake joins the Cowgirls after her best statistical season as a Cornhusker in 2025-26, which saw her start in all 32 games she played in – one of two Cornhuskers to do so – and average 7.2 points and 2.5 boards per contest. On the year, she ranked second on the team in assists (116, 3.6 per game) and steals (42, 1.3 per game) and set a Nebraska school record for offensive fouls (33).
She finished her career just outside Nebraska's career top 10 in three-pointers made with 154.
As a senior, Hake was the recipient of Nebraska's most prestigious life skills award, the Heart & Soul Award, following her contributions to the Lincoln community throughout her four years as a Cornhusker. She served as President of the Nebraska Student-Athlete Advisory Committee from 2024-26 and as chair of the Big Ten Student-Athlete Issues Commission in 2025-26. Hake was also a two-time Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner and was named Nebraska's Big Ten Outstanding Sportsmanship Award recipient in 2024-25.
She made 32 appearances as a junior, starting in 30 of those contests, and averaged 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
Hake was a regular contributor across her first two seasons in Lincoln, appearing in 66 games with six starts in that span. As a sophomore, she averaged 6.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
A native of Victoria, Minn., Hake graduated from Chanhassen High School as a four-time team MVP and McDonald's All-American nominee.
