Cowboy Tennis Announces 2026 Spring Schedule
December 18, 2025 | Cowboy Tennis
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's tennis head coach Dustin Taylor announced the Cowboys spring schedule on Thursday afternoon, a slate highlighted by 17 home matches.
"We couldn't be more excited about the year ahead of us here at Cowboy Tennis," Taylor said. "From the staff, to our returning and incoming players as well as our schedule. Our home opener on January 17th can't come soon enough. With 17 home matches in the Greenwood and 10 good road tests, we are fortunate to have one of the most balanced and compelling schedules in the country. It is part of why you come here to Oklahoma State, to play the best in hopes to one day become the best."
The season begins on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Greenwood Tennis Center with a doubleheader matchup against UT Rio Grande Valley and Saint Joseph's. Two days later, the Cowboys will take on Saint Louis and Oral Roberts for another doubleheader. They will conclude the five-match homestand with a Jan. 24 matchup with the UT Arlington Mavericks.
The Pokes will then take their first road trip of the season, heading to the Northeast for a pair of matchups. Starting on Jan. 30, the Cowboys will face Princeton, a team they recently beat in Stillwater, 4-3, in 2024. The team will then travel north to take on Yale at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
The GTC will play host to another doubleheader on Feb. 6, with the Cowboys taking on Creighton and UTSA. Following a quick trip to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas (Feb. 8), the Cowboys will return for three-straight home contests: Tulsa (Feb. 13), Middle Tennessee State (Feb. 15) and Memphis (Feb. 22).
The Cowboys will be tested with a doubleheader in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Feb. 26-27, first against Omaha and then Nebraska, a team they haven't taken on since 2015 and hold a 47-9 lead against all time. OSU will host San Diego (March 3) and South Florida (March 6) before taking a short drive up I-35 for a match with Wichita State (March 8) and capping it off by playing host to their third Ivy League school, Penn, on March 10.
Big 12 Conference play begins on March 12 with a trip up to Salt Lake City for a first-time conference matchup with Utah. Following the battle with the Utes, OSU will take on BYU in Provo on March 14. They will cap off the three-matchroad trip with a visit to Lubbock on March 21 to take on Texas Tech.
The Cowboys host their first conference matchup on March 26 against Baylor, then travel to Florida for a contest with UCF (April 2) at the USTA National Campus in Orlando. The Pokes will conclude the regular season with a three-match homestand against Arizona State (April 5) and reigning Big 12 Champion TCU (April 9) before finishing up with Arizona on April 12.
Postseason action begins back in Orlando for the Big 12 Championships from April 15-20, with the NCAA Tournament beginning on May 1 with the first and second rounds. The Round of 16 will take place from May 8-10, followed by the NCAA Team Championships from May 13-17, also in Orlando.
