• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will play the second game of a back-to-back on Thursday when Langston comes to town for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
• The contest is the third of a five-game home stretch to open the campaign. OSU is navigating a stretch of five games in nine days to start the year.
• The Cowgirls are hosting back-to-back tilts on Wednesday and Thursday, taking on East Texas A&M and Langston.
• Those two matchups will mark the first time OSU has played home games on consecutive nights since Dec. 5 and 6, 2003 when it hosted Sam Houston State and Fresno State as part of the Cowgirl Classic.

• Langston is 2-0 on the year after defeating Loyola-New Orleans and Cottey College last month. The Lady Lions also took on LSU in exhibition action on Oct. 30.

• The Lady Lions went 31-3 last year and reached the round of 16 at the NAIA National Tournament.

• With their 109-point effort against New Orleans, OSU has reached the century mark five times in the Jacie Hoyt Era.
