The Cowboys matched their best start since the 2020-21 season when Cade Cunningham and company opened with six straight wins.
This is the 21st 6-0 start in the 117 seasons of Cowboy Basketball.
The Cowboys turned defense into offense at an elite level, particularly in the first half when they outscored the Colonels 21-2 off turnovers to take a 47-32 lead into the intermission.
OSU made at least half of its shots (52.5% on 31-for-59 shooting) for the third straight game – the longest such streak since February, 2024. The Pokes improved to 5-1 under Lutz when shooting at least 50% from the field.
Reserves accounted for 56 of the 95 total points. OSU ranks among the national leaders in bench points at 42.2 per game.
The Cowboys are 18-0 under Lutz when scoring at least 80 points (6-0 this season).
OSU posted its fourth 90-point game of the season – a mark they hit just once last season.

Individual Notes:

Jaylen Curry pieced together put together an impressive statline, totaling 30 points on just 11 shots.
Curry (12-for-12) is the first Cowboy to finish perfect from the foul line on a dozen or more attempts since Feb. 10, 2018 when Cameron McGriff made all 13 foul shots at West Virginia.
Prior to Saturday, there had only been five 20+ point, 10+ assist games in Cowboy history, most recently in the 2017 NCAA Tournament when Jawun Evans finished with 23 and 12.
Curry's 30 points were the most ever by a Cowboy reserve, breaking the record of 29 held by Jeffrey Carroll (2017) and Cezar Guerrero (2011).
Senior forward Robert Jennings II missed his third consecutive contest. Prior to this stretch, he had made 38 straight starts since becoming a Cowboy in 2024-25.
