Julian Cash Clinches Year-End ATP Doubles No. 1 Honors
November 18, 2025 | Cowboy Tennis
STILLWATER - Oklahoma State alumnus Julian Cash and partner Lloyd Glasspool have earned the ATP Tour's year-end No. 1 doubles team ranking.
Cash -- a two-time All-American and 2018 OSU graduate -- becomes the first former Cowboy tennis player to finish a season atop the tour's doubles chart.
"It's been a crazy year, that's for sure," Cash said in a tour press release. "We put an awful lot of work in this offseason. It takes a lot of people to get to this spot."
Likewise, Cash and Glasspool (a former Texas Longhorn) are also the first all-British duo to end the year at No. 1.
The double tandem have quickly taken the ATP by storm, capturing a tour-leading seven titles in 2025.
Their season began with a win in Brisbane, setting the tone for what was to come. Weeks later, they claimed another title in Qatar, then made deep runs with finals appearances in Miami, Monaco, and the Netherlands before returning to Great Britain.
It was the grass-court season that truly elevated their profile. Starting with a title at Queen's Club in London, Cash and Glasspool went on a remarkable 22-match win streak, which ended in the semifinals of the Cincinnati Open.
During that stretch, the former Cowboy and Longhorn secured the biggest victory of their careers -- a Wimbledon title. The win made them the first all-British team to claim a major men's doubles championship since 1936. Cash also became the first OSU player to win a Grand Slam title.
After a month-long break, the duo resumed their winning ways, taking another title at the National Bank Open in Toronto. They capped off their season with one final victory in Vienna at the Erste Bank Open.
