Cowgirls Roll In Exhibition Against Oklahoma Christian

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team team ran its winning streak in exhibition contests to 29 in a row with a 104-51 victory over Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday evening inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
In the first quarter the 22nd-ranked Cowgirls got a 3-pointer from Haleigh Timmer to extend their lead to 8-1 and force an OC timeout at the 6:32 mark. OSU extended to a 12-1 lead before the Lady Eagles hit their first field goal of the game at the halfway point of the frame.
The Cowgirls got an old-fashioned 3-point play to make it a 16-2 run and push the margin to 20-3 with three minutes to go. OSU would lead, 33-7, through the first 10 minutes.
The Lady Eagles shot 47 percent in the second quarter and used a 7-0 run over the final 1:13 to cut the margin to 53-25 at the half.
OSU came out of the locker room on the attack in the second half, scoring 18 of the first 20 points to push the margin to 70-27 with 4:43 to go in the period. The Cowgirls would outscore OC by a 28-7 count to take an 81-32 lead into the final 10 minutes.
The Cowgirls picked up where they left off to start the fourth, scoring 15 of the first 20 in the period. OSU would hit the century mark at the three-minute mark of the contest.
Jadyn Wooten led the Cowgirls with 19 points and was one of six OSU players to score in double figures.
