No. 4 Oklahoma State Sweeps Clemson, Advances to ITA Kickoff Weekend Final

STILLWATER– Oklahoma State's No. 4 ranked women's tennis team defeated Clemson, 4-0, as part of ITA Kickoff Weekend on Saturday at the Greenwood Tennis Center .
With the win, OSU improved to 4-0 and extended its win streak in regular season matches to 30. Oklahoma State advances to Sunday's ITA Kickoff Weekend final against SMU or Arkansas, with a chance to advance to the ITA Indoor National Championships with a win.
Oklahoma State started its day by winning the doubles point, beginning with Anastasiya Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp defeating Clemson's Gaia Parravicini and Amelie Smejkalova, 6-3. Clemson's pairing of No. 75 Romana Cisovska and Candela Yecora answered, beating Kylie Collins and Gracie Epps, 6-4.
The tiebreaker came down to OSU's Marcela Lopez and Alian Zack defeating Clemson's Annabelle Davis and Sophia Hatton, 6-4, clinching the doubles point for the Cowgirls.
Singles play saw its first point go to OSU when No. 48 Komar defeated Hatton, 6-3, 6-3, on court two before No. 38 Gracie Epps defeated Cisovska, 6-3, 6-0 on court three. No. 58 Lopez then clinched the Oklahoma State win, defeating Parravicini, 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 on court five.
Three singles matches went unfinished, as Collins led Smejkalova, 6-3, 5-3, Nijkamp was in the third set against Davis, 6-3, 3-6, 1-1, and Zack trailed Artemis Aslanisvili, 3-6, 4-5, when play was stopped.
