Kajuru, Komar Advance to Final in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Ange Oby Kajuru and Anastasiya Komar of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team advanced on Saturday at the Battle in the Bay in San Francisco, California.
The No. 1 ranked doubles pairing defeated Elyse Tse and Yura Nakagawa of Washington State, 8-3, to advance to Sunday's final, where they will face the second-seeded and No. 12 ranked team of Isabel Pascual and Jade Otway from TCU at 11:30 a.m. CT.
Kajuru also advanced to the singles final, defeating Pepperdine's Vivian Yang, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1, on Friday night before besting teammate Marcela Lopez, 6-4, 6-2, on Saturday. She will await the winner of No. 13 Anastasiia Lopata and No. 15 Emma Charney in the final, which is slated for 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.
Lopez found her way into the singles semifinals by way of a walkover victory against Pepperdine's Liam Oved, while Komar saw her singles run come to an end Friday night with a 6-1, 6-1, loss to Charney in the quarterfinals.
