OSU Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Each Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's track & field were each named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams, the organization announced.
This marks the 15th straight year for the Cowgirls and the 13th straight year for the Cowboys being named All-Academic teams under Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Dave Smith. Between the men's and women's programs, Oklahoma State has been named All-Academic teams in 30 of the 31 combined seasons coached by Smith.
A combined 22 athletes were named USTFCCCA All-Academic athletes, with 16 on the women's side and six on the men's side. Overall, the Cowgirls finished with a team-wide GPA of 3.65, a new program record, surpassing the previous best of 3.61 in 2022.
Cowboy nominees include Kian Davis, Philip Frank, Adisu Guadie, Alex Maier, Sam Mason and Ryan Schoppe. Cowgirl nominees include Sivan Auerbach, Kessiah Bemis, Grace Boone, Molly Born, Katie Chapman, Bailey Golden, Saara Hakanen, Gabby Hentemann, Payton Hinkle, Maddie Meiner, Annie Molenhouse, Rachel Neaves, Taylor Roe, Maddie Salek, Olivija Vaitaityte and Tamara Woodley.
The criteria to be named an NCAA Division I All-Academic Athlete includes a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale in the classroom. Athletic criteria includes finishing the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event, or in the top 48 in any championship relay event, for the most recent indoor season or must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships (the Preliminary Championship Competition and/or the Final Championship Competition) or for the multi-events, must have finished the season ranked in the top 48 in the East or top 48 in the West for the most recent outdoor season.
