Cowboy Tandem Earns All-America Status

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's duo of Isaac Becroft and Tyler Zink added to its resumé this week with the announcement of the singles and doubles All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The Cowboy tandem, which finished the season ranked No. 10 and garnered first-team All-Big 12 honors, was one of 16 doubles pairings in the country to earn the recognition.
Zink and Becroft finished the season 7-1 with six ranked wins. The Cowboy duo advanced to the sweet 16 of the NCAA Doubles Championships, ultimately falling to Duke's Garrett Johns and Pedro Rodenas.
The tandem defeated No. 62 Eliot Spizzirri and Siem Woldeab (Texas), No. 52 Baptiste Anselmo and Alex Martinez (Oklahoma), No. 29 Tadeus Paroulek and Zsombor Velcz (Baylor), No. 22 Spizzirri and Woldeab and No. 15 Keshav Chopra and Marcus McDaniel (Georgia Tech).
The criteria for ITA All-America honors include earning a top 16 seed into the NCAA Singles Championship, advancing to the round of 16 at the NCAA Championship, or finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA Singles Rankings.
All-America recognition is awarded to doubles teams that earn a top-eight seed into the NCAA Championship, reach the NCAA Championship quarterfinals or finish in the top 10 in the final ITA National Doubles Rankings.
