Cowboy Tennis Appears in Top 30 in Final ITA Team Rankings

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team checked in at No. 29 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's final DI men's tennis rankings of the 2024 season, it was announced today.
The Pokes knocked off No. 42 Vanderbilt in the first round of the NCAA team Championships, reaching the second round in four of the past five seasons. OSU advanced to semifinal round of the Big 12 Championships, the second appearance in the Dustin Taylor era.
Oklahoma State tallied 18 wins, the most since 2018 when it totaled 20 victories. The Cowboys' season was highlighted by wins over No. 5 USC, No. 11 Illinois, No. 30 UCF and No. 31 Baylor.
Six Cowboys earned double-digit victories in singles, highlighted by graduate Tyler Zink's 17 wins and Isaac Becroft's 15 in dual matches. Courts one, two and three earned a winning percentage of .680 or higher, with 15 or more wins.
In doubles, 12 pairings recorded a win, with the most on court two (17). Court one doubles saw a winning percentage of .800, leading the three courts in the category.
