• The contest will serve as OSU's annual N7 game.
• OSU will wear turquoise uniforms as part of Nike's N7 Fund initiative which focuses on helping youth in Native American and Indigenous communities in North America lead healthier, happier, and more successful lives.
• OSU standout Stailee Heard, who is registered Creek, Sac and Fox, Seneca-Cayuga, Wyandotte, and Seminole, will face her sister, Tyla, who is a freshman for ORU.
• The Cowgirls are 25-8 inside Gallagher-Iba Arena under the direction of head coach Jacie Hoyt.
• Rylee Langerman was honored this week as a Kay Yow Servant Leader.
• The recipients of the organization's Servant Leader Award are people of great character who put the needs of others before their own, who uplift others, and who do it with grace and humility. They are nominated by their coach, and are people who exemplify Coach Yow's spirit and who reflect her resolve, grace, generosity, and servant's heart. Winners display courage and strength, and their first response is to give to others.

• The in-state schools will square off for the 46th time with OSU holding a 30-15 advantage.
• The Cowgirls have won 10 in a row after their 103-66 win in Stillwater two years ago.
• The last nine meetings have taken place inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• OSU's last loss in the series came in overtime in 2004 in Tulsa as part of the Bertha Teague Classic.

• ORU opened its season on Monday with a 99-74 win over Northeastern State.
• Taleyah Jones and Ruthie Udoumoh were both named preseason All-Summit League first-team picks, while Jalei Oglesby was named a second-team selection.
• The Golden Eagles were picked to finish second in the Summit League this season.
• The Cowgirls are one of four Power Four opponents on ORU's schedule and are joined by Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
