Cowboy Tennis Set for ITA Sectionals

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's Alessio Basile and Isaac Becroft are set to compete at ITA Sectionals in the main draw of both singles and doubles in Fort Worth, Texas, this weekend.
This weekend is the final chance for Basile and Becroft to qualify for the NCAA Championships later this month.
Play is set to begin on Nov. 7, with doubles action in the morning and singles play beginning in the afternoon.
In singles, both Cowboys are set to face foes from Ohio State. Becroft opens with Christopher Li, and Basile begins play against Preston Stearns.
In doubles, the two begin their title hunt against Michigan's Gavin Young and Bjorn Swenson.
The top six singles players (semifinalists, two quarterfinal playoff winners) and the top three doubles pairings (champion, finalist, third place) from the weekend advance to the NCAA Championships.
Derek Pham and Ty Wunderlich cap off their fall schedules this weekend in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Collegiate Tennis Challenge.
The singles draw will be released on Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
The NCAA Individual Championships begin on Nov. 18 in Waco, Texas.
