• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will tip off its third season under head coach Jacie Hoyt on Monday at 5 p.m. when Arkansas-Pine Bluff pays a visit to Stillwater.
• The contest will serve as the front end of a doubleheader with the Cowboy basketball team, which will make its debut under head coach Steve Lutz at 8 p.m. against Green Bay.
• The Cowgirls went 10-5 at home last year and are 24-8 inside Gallagher-Iba Arena under the direction of Hoyt.
• The contest will mark the 16th consecutive year OSU has started the season at home.
• The matchup will tip off a six-game homestand to open the season for the Cowgirls.
• OSU opened the Jacie Hoyt Era two years ago with a 95-63 win over UTRGV on Nov. 7, 2022 and followed with a 100-59 win in its opener over SIUE on Nov. 6 last year.
• The Cowgirls have won 17 of their last 18 home openers with the lone loss during that stretch being a setback against Colorado three years ago.
• In last year's season opener, Stailee Heard posted a double-double to become the first Cowgirl since Brittany Reeves against Oral Roberts (11 points, 14 rebounds) on Nov. 29, 2020 to achieve the feat in their first game as a Cowgirl.
• Additionally, she became the first Cowgirl freshman to log a double-double in her debut since Cheri Westervelt finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds against North Texas on Dec. 1, 1993.

• The two squads have squared off on five occasions with the Cowgirls owning a 5-0 advantage.
• All five meetings have come in Stillwater with four of the five coming in the month of December.
