Cowgirl Tennis Set to Compete in ITA All-American Championships

STILLWATER – Five members of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team will travel to Cary, North Carolina, this weekend for the ITA All-American Championships.
Anastasiya Komar, Ange Oby Kajuru, Kristina Novak, Lucia Peyre and Raquel Gonzalez will all be in action throughout the week in singles and doubles play. Last week, Peyre received her spot by way of a pre-qualifying wildcard granted by the ITA.
The Cowgirls are coming off a weekend in California in which Peyre and her partner, Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine, captured the Battle in the Bay doubles title in San Francisco, while Komar and Gonzalez advanced to meet Novak and Safiya Carrington in the USTA Intercollegiate Championship doubles final.
