Peyre Finishes Day Two in California

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's tennis student-athlete Lucia Peyre competed in the second round of the singles qualifying draw in the ITF 60k Pro Circuit event in Berkeley, California, Tuesday afternoon.

After an opening-round win on Monday, Peyre fell to American and former TCU student-athlete Ellie Douglas in the second round earlier today, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).

Other members of the OSU women's tennis team will be competing in California this weekend, with select Cowgirls entering the USTA Intercollegiate Championships in San Diego, while others will be in San Francisco for the Battle of the Bay.
