STILLWATER, Okla. – In its final match of the regular season, the No. 44-ranked Oklahoma State men's tennis team fell to No. 43 Baylor, 4-1.

For the Cowboys, the result moved their record to 12-12 on the season and 10-3 at the Greenwood Tennis Center.

Baylor got things started on court two as the 24th-ranked pairing Finn Bass and Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi took down Francisco Pini and Alex Garcia, 6-3.

No. 14 pairing Zsombor Velcz and Tadeas Paroulek clinched the doubles point for the Bears, getting by Isaac Becroft and Chase Ferguson, 6-3.

Alessio Basile and Tyler Zink went unfinished on court three, leading over Luc Koenig and Christopher Frantzen, 5-2.

Baylor netted the first singles point as Luc Koenig defeated Leighton Allen via retirement, 4-1.

Garcia got the Pokes on the board, posting a 6-2, 6-4 victory over No. 53 Bass.

Velcz marked a 3-1 lead for Baylor, ousting Becroft, 6-1, 6-4.

Mazzuchi beat Basile in tiebreaking fashion, clinching the match with a 6-2, 7-6(1) victory.

In a ranked court-one battle, No. 99 Tyler Zink went unfinished versus No. 69 Tadeas Paroulek, 7-5, 3-3.

Ferguson and Marko Miladinovic went unfinished on court four, 6-1, 4-6, 0-2.

Oklahoma State will travel to Lawrence, Kansas, on Friday, April 21, to compete at the Big 12 Championships.
