Naomie Alnatas Garners First-Team All-Big 12 Recognition

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Naomie Alnatas was named a first-team all-conference selection with the announcement of the Phillips 66 All-Big 12 women's basketball awards by the league office on Monday. The awards were voted on by the league's head coaches, who could not vote for their own players.
Alnatas has been impressive during her lone season in Stillwater, ranking 13th among league players in scoring at 13,7 points per game, ninth in assists at 3.7 per contest, eighth in made 3-pointers per contest at 2.2 and second in assist-turnover ratio at 2.22.
Her assist-turnover ratio is also the 33rd-best in the country.
The Cayenne, French Guiana native has started all 30 of OSU's games this year while leading the Cowgirls to a 20-win campaign and one of the nation's largest turnarounds. Additionally, OSU registered 10 wins during league play.
Last November, Alnatas was named to the all-tournament team at the Women's Cancun Challenge and was tabbed as the Big 12 Player of the Week on Jan. 16.
Alnatas and the fourth-seeded Cowgirls will begin action at the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City on Friday at 11 a.m. when they face West Virginia.
