STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team has added Ryan Livesay as a volunteer assistant coach, it was announced today by head coach Dustin Taylor.
"It's a great day for Cowboy tennis when you add an extremely valuable piece to the staff like Ryan Livesay," Taylor said. "He's one of the most inspiring guys to be around with the energy and enthusiasm he brings to life and what we do here at Cowboy tennis on a daily basis."
Livesay comes to Stillwater after a wealth of experiences in both the tennis and business world since graduating from the University of Tulsa in 2003.
"I am super excited to join the OSU tennis program," Livesay said. "DT [Dustin Taylor] and Marty [Redlicki] are doing a wonderful job and I am grateful to be a part of it. We have a great group of hard-working talented guys and they have a bright future ahead."
After his illustrious collegiate career where he was an ITA All-American, NCAA Quarterfinalist and ITA Farnsworth Senior Player of the Year, he went on to coach several top junior and ATP Professionals before going into his business career.
His business career included stints as the director of tennis at the world-renowned Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club, leadership roles in a number of technology startup companies, and most recently a very successful campaign in the Commercial Real Estate sector over the last decade.
Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, Ryan graduated from Lakeridge High School as a top recruit in the country before attending the University of Tulsa where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in business.
