November 08, 2023 | Cowboy Tennis
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team has signed 2025 Oklahoma standout Ian Bracks, it was announced by head coach Dustin Taylor.
"Cowboy tennis could not be more excited about the signing of homegrown talent and top blue-chip recruit Ian Bracks," Taylor said. "He has extremely high character, work ethic and commitment to himself and representing the ones around him."
A Tulsa native, Bracks holds the Class of 2025 No. 8 national ranking from Tennis Recruiting. He also retains the No. 1 ranking in Oklahoma.
Bracks reached a career-high International Tennis Federation ranking of 1,045 in March 2023. Additionally, Bracks carries a 19.5 ITF World Tennis Number in doubles and 12.3 in singles.
In a junior career highlighted by an Easter Bowl 16 and under singles title, Bracks also placed third in the 18s Indoor Nationals.
"He's an impact player on the court and a culture builder off the court," Taylor said. "The future of Cowboy Tennis continues to brighten with the addition of Ian, and we cannot wait to see him in the orange and black for years to come."
Bracks is the lone signee added to a team that reached the Big 12 semifinals and the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2023.
