Oklahoma State Softball Moves to No. 10/10 in National Polls

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team moved to No. 10 in both the USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll and the ESPN.com/USA Softball top 25, it was announced today.
The Cowgirls went 2-1 at the OSU Tulsa Invitational which gives them an overall record of 12-5. OSU split a double header with Stanford on March 4, followed by a 4-0 win against DePaul led by pitcher Morgan Day on March 6.
Day pitched a complete game shutout, allowing two hits and one walk. She also recorded 16 strikeouts, two shy of her career high.
The fourth game of the OSU Tulsa Invitational was postponed due to weather in the top of the fourth inning versus Minnesota, and will be finished tomorrow, prior to the single game against the Minnesota. The score is 2-1 in favor of the Golden Gophers.
After week four, here's a look at where the Cowgirls rank in other national top 25 rankings:

No. 13 in Softball America's Top 25
Looking ahead, the Cowgirls travel to Memphis, Tennessee, to compete in the Memphis Tournament where they play two games on Friday and two more on Saturday. On Friday, OSU faces Central Arkansas at 2 p.m., followed by Memphis at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, it takes on South Dakota and Southeastern Louisiana in back-to-back games starting at 1 p.m. CT.
