Cowgirls Complete Regular Season At Arkansas Qualifier
February 18, 2022 | Cowgirl Cross Country & Track
FAYETTEVILLE – The Oklahoma State men's and women's indoor track & field teams wrapped up their regular season slate Friday as they took on the Arkansas Qualifier.

The men's Distance Medley Relay team led the way for the Cowboys, smashing the program record by nearly four seconds as they ran the sixth-fastest collegiate time in NCAA history, posting a time of 9:22.70. Entering the weekend, only two other schools had ever run faster in the event.

Isaiah Priddey also had a great run Friday, breaking the historical four-minute mark in the men's mile with his personal best time of 3:58.93 that brought him home fourth in the race.

In the men's 4x400 relay, the Cowboy lineup of Charlie Bartholomew, Koryee Wyatt, Elijah Berry and DJ McArthur dropped an impressive time of 3:08.90 which moves them into fourth on OSU's all-time list and just a second off the program record.

For the Cowgirls, the women's 4x400 relay took home the win with a time of 3:38.71 which is the third-fastest time in program history in the event after they set the record earlier this season at the Razorback Invitational.

Natalia Cleveland also claimed a victory in the 3,000 meter run, defeating teammate Katie North with a personal best time of 10:02.30. North placed second in the race with Emily Forster finishing fourth overall.

India Morgan made it three victories overall for the Cowgirls with her 5.85 meter jump in the long jump, which is a new personal best for her. Ryan Roane and Sanye Ford also competed in the event and placed fourth and seventh, respectively.

Hannah Bradford found herself in the top five yet again in the women's weight throw. Overall, she placed second with a throw of 18.73 meters and will be looking to move up the all-time program leaderboard again next week.

This meet capped off a historical regular season for the indoor track & field teams. With several program records already broken, the 2022 squad will travel to Ames, Iowa, next weekend for the Big 12 Indoor Championships with an opportunity to send several individuals to the national championships the following week.
