Cowgirl Golf Heads To Florida For Columbia Classic

STILLWATER – No. 2 Oklahoma State women's golf is set to continue the spring portion of its season at the Columbia Classic presented by Moon Golf in Viera, Fla., this weekend.
The 15-team tournament is set to tee off on Sunday with 36 holes of action before concluding on Monday with the final 18 holes at the Duran Golf Club. Play is set to tee off with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. ET on Sunday at the par 72, 6,357-yard layout.
The 15-team field includes Big 12 opponents Iowa State and Texas Tech, in addition to Albany, Boston University, Columbia, Dartmouth, Georgia, Illinois, Northwestern, Princeton, Purdue, Tulsa, Virginia Tech, and Yale.

- Maddison Hinson-Tolchard won the individual title at the Rapsodo in the Desert, her first tournament win as a Cowgirl.
- No. 2 Oklahoma State finished second after shooting a 282 in the final round.
- In her nine tournament appearances as a Cowgirl in 2021, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard had four top-20 finishes, including tying for 15th place at the NCAA Women's Championship.
- Isabella Fierro earned WGCA Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2021 after recording a 71.23 scoring average and notching seven top-10 finishes last season
- Clemence Martin, a Paris native, was the winner of the 2019 French Ladies Amateur Championship and later represented her country at the European Girls' Team Championship.
- Lianna Bailey recorded a 72.68 scoring average during the 2020-21 reason, the eighth-best in program history. She entered her senior season with 29 career rounds on par or better.
- Rina Tatematsu was named the 2021 Big 12 Freshman of the Year after recording five top-10 finishes including an individual championship at the ICON Invitational.
