Taylen Collins Garners Big 12 Player of the Week Honors

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Taylen Collins has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week it was announced today by the league office.
The junior forward earned the honor after her record-setting performance on Saturday in OSU's win over North Texas. Collins recorded her third double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and matching the school's single-game rebounding mark with 23 boards.
Her total matched the previous standard set by All-American Natasha Mack on Dec. 20, 2019 against Oral Roberts and is tied for the seventh-best total in Big 12 history.
Additionally, the Muldrow, Okla., native connected on six of her seven shots from the floor and had a team-best two steals against the Mean Green.
Collins' showing comes on the heels of her performance in OSU's win over Florida State when she pulled a then-career best 17 rebounds.
