Cowboys Coast To Win Against Islanders

STILLWATER, Okla. ----Â Oklahoma State defeated Texas A&M Corpus Christi 81-58 on Tuesday to improve to 8-4 on the season.
Bryce Thompson lead the Cowboys in scoring for the second-straight game after knocking down four three-pointers against the Islanders. Thompson has made nine threes in the last two game, and 13 in the last four.
Moussa Cisse notched his fifth double-double of the season, scoring 12 points and bringing down 14 boards. The Big 12's leading shot-blocker also swatted one shot away, increasing his streak of games with at least one block to 22.
Avery Anderson III made his impact with his ability to find teammates in this one, setting a career-high with nine assists on Tuesday. Anderson also reached double-figures scoring and snagged two steals against the Islanders.Â
Oklahoma State held Texas A&M CC to just 2-15 from three-point range in the first half, and capitalized by taking a 44-20 lead into the halftime break, the Cowboys largest halftime lead this season.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys knocked down ten first-half three-pointers on their way to a season-high 13 makes from beyond the arc.Â
The Cowboys largest lead was 31 with just over two minutes to play in the second half.
Oklahoma State will be back in action on New Years Eve as the Cowboys head to Lawrence, KS, to take on the No. 4 ranked Kansas Jayhawks. Tipoff is at 1 p.m. inside of historic Allen Fieldhouse.
