Cowboys Claim Double-Digit Victory in Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas ---- Oklahoma State grabbed its seventh win of the season on Saturday with a 59-49 victory on the road against Wichita State.
Bryce Thompson led the Cowboys in scoring with a season-high 19 points, along with a career-high five three-point field goals.
John-Michael Wright added 16 for the Cowboys on 50 percent shooting from the floor, including 4-of-7 from three-point range.
Avery Anderson III stifled the Shockers guards all night, snagging four steals to go along with his eight points and five rebounds.
Moussa Cisse continued to impact the game with his shot-blocking abilities, blocking four more shots on the night. Cisse leads the Big 12 in total blocks and blocks per game, averaging over three a game.
Oklahoma State held Wichita State to a season-low 49 points, the fewest the Shockers have scored in a game since scoring 43 against Houston on Feb. 9, 2020.
Wichita State made just one of 21 three-point attempts in the contest.
OSU improved to 32-11 all-time against the Shockers, and grabbed its 17th road win in the series.
The Cowboys will be back in Gallagher-Iba Arena on Dec. 20, facing off with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 2 p.m.
