• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will usher in the Jacie Hoyt Era on Tuesday evening when Northeastern (Okla.) State comes calling for a 6:30 p.m. exhibition contest inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• Hoyt was named the eighth head coach in the history of the program on March 20, 2022.
• Hoyt went 4-1 in exhibition contests while leading the Kansas City program.
• NSU is one of seven different in-state schools the Cowgirls have hosted for exhibition play. The RiverHawks join Central Oklahoma, East Central, Panhandle State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State on that list.
• The contest will mark OSU's lone exhibition contest of the season before getting the regular season underway on Nov 7 against UT Rio Grande Valley.
• Tuesday's tilt could potentially mark the first action in a Cowgirl uniform for eight players.
• The contest will tip off a four-game homestand to open the season for the Cowgirls. OSU will host UT Rio Grande Valley on Nov. 7 before Northwestern State comes to town on Nov. 11 and Oral Roberts closing out the stretch on Nov. 14.
• OSU will play its first road contest under Hoyt's direction on Nov. 17 at Missouri State.

OSU In Exhibition Play
• After a 64-40 win over Southern Nazarene last November, the Cowgirls have won 25 consecutive exhibition contests.
• The Cowgirls' last exhibition loss came on Nov. 14, 2003 against Northwest Sports.
• Since 2002, OSU sports a 28-1 record in exhibition play.

Know The Foe
• NSU went 7-21 last season, including a 5-17 mark in MIAA action.
• The RiverHawks were picked 12th in both the MIAA Preseason Women's Basketball Coaches and Media Polls.
• NSU is in its sixth season under the direction of Fala Suiaunoa.

OSU—NSU ... The Series
• This week's contest will mark the fourth time the Cowgirls have hosted the RiverHawks in exhibition play.
• OSU notched a 70-37 win in the last meeting in 2018.
• The two sides matched up in 2015 with the Cowgirls claiming a 95-54 victory.
• 2013 marked the first-ever exhibition matchup with OSU coming away with an 84-47 victory.

Last Time Out In Exhibition Play
• All four of OSU's returners this season played in last year's exhibition contest.
• Kassidy De Lapp, Taylen Collins and Lexy Keys all earned the starting nod with Macie James coming off the bench.
• Keys scored a game-high 16 points while dishing out a team-best six assists as well.
• Collins scored nine points to go with a game-high 12 rebounds.
